GB3FT is a 24cm TV repeater with an input frequency of 1249MHz. The input signal can be either analog FM (PAL) or 4Msps digital.
It also has an auxilliary receiver listening on 146.5MHz at 333kksps, horizontal beaming SSE from Blackpool.
The output frequency is 1315MHz at 4Msps and is also streamed on the BATC website.
It is using clause 10 (personal beacon) of G3WGU license with DTMF remote control. 24cm Coverage is predicted to be similar to the map below.
It is also being streamed to the BATC website.
GB3FT can be controlled by sending the appropriate DTMF codes on 144.750MHz.
Modes of operation are as follows:
Mode 0 - repeater shut down, sends "SK" on reception of command.
Mode 1 - repeater active for 1 hour, sends "K1" on reception of command.
Mode 2 - beacon mode, transmits for 10 minutes every hour, sends "KB" on reception of command.
Mode 3 - on reception of command it sends "Test de GB3FT" on 144.750MHz, useful for checking the command rex is actually working without affecting the repeater itself.
Mode 4 - repeater active for 4 hours, sends "K4" on reception of command
Mode 5 - sends repeater status on 144.750MHz, indicating current mode of operation and if the tx is on or off.
All responses are in MCW at 12wpm on 144.750MHz
